01Introduction
Ring Rewards ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Ring Rewards mobile application and the website at ringreward.com (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information about users of the Service.
By using Ring Rewards, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Apple Sign In data — your Apple user identifier, and, if you choose to share them, your name and email address as provided by Apple's Sign In with Apple service.
- Phone number — collected during account setup for identity verification and to enable outbound calling functionality.
- Verification status — records of whether your phone number and account have been successfully verified.
Calling and Usage Data
- Outbound call records necessary to operate the service, including numbers dialed, call timestamps, call duration, and call-connection status.
- Caller ID verification data.
Contacts (with your permission)
- If you grant the app permission to access your device contacts, we use contact names and phone numbers to make it easier for you to place calls. See Section 4: Contacts Permission for details.
Rewards and Advertising Data
- Ad impression events (selected, started, completed).
- Reward amounts, reward status (pending, available), and wallet balance.
- Transaction history and payout activity.
- Offer interaction data (e.g., offer views, offer link taps where available).
Device and Diagnostic Data
- Device type, operating system version, and app version.
- Crash reports, performance logs, and diagnostic data.
- General usage patterns used to improve the Service.
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Verify your identity and phone number.
- Enable outbound calling functionality.
- Play audio advertisements during eligible outbound calls.
- Track ad impressions and completions to determine reward eligibility.
- Credit rewards to your wallet and manage your reward balance.
- Process payouts when you request them.
- Display brand and offer information in your wallet activity feed.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and policy violations.
- Improve the Service, fix bugs, and optimize performance.
- Provide advertiser reporting using aggregated and anonymized data.
- Comply with legal obligations.
Ring Rewards may request access to your device contacts to make it easier for you to place calls through the app. This permission is optional.
- If you grant contacts access, we read contact names and phone numbers from your device to display them in the app's calling interface.
- We do not sell, share, or use your contacts for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than enabling the calling functionality you requested.
- We do not upload your entire contacts list to our servers. Contact data is accessed locally on your device to populate the calling interface.
- You can revoke contacts access at any time through your device Settings.
05Calling and Telecommunications Data
Ring Rewards enables outbound phone calls through the app. To provide this functionality:
- We collect the phone numbers you dial, call timestamps, and call-connection status.
- Calls are routed through Twilio, a third-party telecommunications provider. Twilio processes call data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
- We do not record the audio content of your phone calls. Audio advertisements play on your device before the call connects. Once the call connects, Ring Rewards does not listen to, record, or store any conversation audio.
- The person you call does not hear the audio advertisement. It plays only on your device during the ringing window.
- Caller ID verification data is collected to ensure your caller ID displays correctly to the person you are calling.
06Rewards and Advertising Data
Ring Rewards displays short audio advertisements during eligible outbound calls. When an advertisement plays, we collect:
- Ad selection events — when an eligible ad is matched to your call.
- Ad start events — when audio playback begins on your device.
- Ad completion events — when the full audio message plays to completion.
- Reward grants — when a reward is credited to your wallet.
- Offer interactions — if you view or tap an advertiser's offer in your wallet activity feed (where available).
This data is used to determine reward eligibility, credit your wallet, provide you with a transaction history, and generate aggregated advertiser performance reports. Advertiser reports use anonymized and aggregated data and do not identify individual users.
We also enforce daily reward caps, cooldown periods, and eligibility rules to maintain platform integrity and prevent abuse.
07Analytics and Diagnostics
We collect diagnostic and usage data to improve the reliability, performance, and security of the Service. This may include:
- App launch and session data.
- Feature usage patterns.
- Crash reports and error logs.
- Device type, operating system version, and app version.
- Network connection type.
This data is used internally to fix bugs, optimize performance, and improve the user experience. It is not sold to third parties.
08Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
Service Providers
We share data with third-party service providers who help us operate the Service (see Section 9). These providers are contractually required to use your data only to provide services to us.
Advertiser Reporting
We provide advertisers with aggregated and anonymized campaign performance data (e.g., total impressions, completion rates, offer interaction rates). We do not share your name, phone number, Apple ID, or individually identifiable information with advertisers.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of Ring Rewards, our users, or the public.
Business Transfers
If Ring Rewards is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
09Third-Party Services
Ring Rewards uses the following third-party services to operate the platform:
- Apple Sign In — for account authentication. Apple's privacy policy governs data shared through Sign In with Apple.
- Twilio — for telecommunications and outbound call routing. Twilio processes call data in accordance with its privacy policy.
- Railway — for hosting backend infrastructure, including servers and databases. Railway processes data in accordance with its privacy policy.
- Stripe (planned) — for future payment processing and payouts. If and when Stripe is integrated, Stripe's privacy policy will govern payment data.
Each of these providers has its own privacy practices. We encourage you to review their privacy policies for more information.
10Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:
- Account data — retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
- Call records — retained for the period necessary to operate the Service, provide transaction history, and comply with telecommunications regulations.
- Reward and transaction data — retained for the period necessary to process payouts, maintain audit trails, and comply with financial record-keeping requirements.
- Diagnostic data — retained for a limited period and then deleted or anonymized.
11Account Deletion and User Rights
You have the right to request deletion of your account and associated personal data. To request account deletion:
- Email support@ringreward.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request."
- Include the email address or phone number associated with your account so we can locate your data.
Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will:
- Delete your account and personal information from our active systems.
- Remove your data from third-party service providers where technically feasible.
- Retain only the minimum data required by law, regulation, or legitimate business need (e.g., financial transaction records required for tax or audit purposes).
We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Deletion of your account is permanent and cannot be undone.

12Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These measures include:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS).
- Secure authentication via Apple Sign In.
- Access controls limiting employee and contractor access to personal data.
- Regular review of security practices.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13Children's Privacy
Ring Rewards is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

14International Users
Ring Rewards is currently available in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.
15Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the app or by email.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
