01Information we collect
To operate Ring Rewards, we collect:
- Account information: your Apple Sign-In identifier, and your name and email address if you choose to share them through Sign in with Apple. Providing an email address is optional.
- Phone and verification information: your phone number and its verification status, used to verify your account and set up caller ID.
- Calling information: the numbers you dial, the time of each call attempt, the status of the call, and related caller-ID information needed to place and operate calls.
- Rewards and advertising activity: sponsored-audio events (selected, started, completed, skipped, or failed), reward amounts and status, your wallet balance, payout requests, offer views, and offer-link clicks.
- Contact information associated with calls you place (see the Contacts section below).
- Basic operational logs needed to run, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
02How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Place and connect your calls
- Verify your account and set up your caller ID
- Play sponsored audio on your device
- Calculate, grant, and track rewards
- Process payout requests you submit
- Detect and prevent fraud and abuse
- Provide aggregate, non-identifying performance reporting to advertisers
- Operate, maintain, and improve the service
03Conversation audio
We do not record your calls.
We do not listen to your call conversations.
Sponsored audio plays only on your device, before your call connects. The person you call never hears the advertisement.
Because we never capture your conversations, we cannot and do not sell or share them.
04Contacts
If you grant contacts permission, Ring Rewards uses your contacts on your device to display names and help you choose who to call.
We do not upload your address book or contact list to our servers.
When you intentionally place a call, contact information associated with that call (such as the name and number of the person you dialed) may be transmitted as necessary to operate the service, complete calls, generate and verify rewards, and maintain your account activity.
We never share your contacts with advertisers and never use them for advertising or marketing.
05Advertising and advertiser reporting
Sponsored audio and optional offers may appear in the app.
We provide advertisers with aggregate, non-identifying reporting, such as how many times an ad was selected, started, or completed, and how many offer links were clicked.
We do not share your private call conversations with advertisers, and we do not identify individual users to them.
06Rewards and payouts
You may earn rewards for eligible completed sponsored audio, subject to eligibility rules, earning limits, cooldowns, and fraud-prevention checks.
Rewards are promotional incentives and do not constitute wages, salary, or guaranteed compensation.
Reward amounts, eligibility, earning limits, payout methods, and reward rules may change over time. The current values that apply to you are shown in the app.
Payout requests are submitted through the app. Available payout methods may change over time, and during beta payouts may be processed manually. The current requirements and minimum withdrawal amount are displayed within the app.
07Third-party services
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate Ring Rewards:
- Apple — Sign in with Apple (account identity)
- Twilio — voice calling and SMS verification
- Railway — backend hosting and data storage
- Expo / EAS — app build and delivery
Offer links inside the app may open advertiser websites in your browser; those sites have their own privacy practices. If we add a payment processor in the future to handle payouts, we will update this policy.
08Data retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to operate the service, support rewards, prevent fraud, support business operations, and comply with legal and accounting requirements.
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Delete Account. Deleting your account removes or anonymizes associated information as described in this policy. Certain records, such as payout history, may be retained in anonymized form for accounting and legal purposes.
Copies of deleted data may persist briefly in routine backups before being overwritten.
If you need help, you can contact support, but emailing support is not required to delete your account.
09Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), authentication through Sign in with Apple, and access controls on our systems.
No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10Eligibility and children
You must be at least 13 years old to use Ring Rewards. Certain features, including withdrawals or payouts, may require additional eligibility requirements imposed by applicable law or third-party payment providers.
Ring Rewards is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
11Availability
Ring Rewards is currently offered primarily to users in the United States. Availability may change over time.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date above. The website and in-app versions of this policy are kept identical.
